Fresh off of her latest performance in The Blue Marble, Porschia L. Baker will grace the Rhythm Lounge stage with her poignant words, creative style and dynamic delivery. Truely one of my favorite people, you will not want to miss this writer’s performance!
There are almost no words to describe this trombone-playin’, piano keys-smashin’, chocolate soul sangin’ crooner from Alabama. His style is so smooth and his talents vary. One of my favorite new “happy disoveries.” Three years ago, he posted a blog on his MySpace page encouraging progressive artists to create a movement and do something positive with their talent. This show is an example of Mr. Chadwick walkin’ the walk. Chad Bishop and several of his artist friends will rock the Rhythm Lounge as they do so well.
The first artist to jump on board 10 for 10, Marlon D is one of the freshest MCs from the 805 that I personally can’t wait to see. With a slew of shows this month, I don’t have to wait! This dope Hip Hop artist is working on his fifth album and has done numerous shows all over LA and Orange County. Check his latest music and videos.
Brother Dvooa: MC, B-Boy, Innovater. I have been rockin’ to theDisplay Vol. 1 album all week and am very excited to have this multi-talented artist be a part of the show. His blazing creativity both lyrically and physically is amazing to watch. A must-see artist!
Representing West Coast Unknown, S.O.U.L.-O. commands dance floors and eardrums everywhere with his diverse music collection of all things dope. One of my favorite DJs and current collabortor, this DJ, MC and Producer steady gives you bangin’ mixes and good soulful vibes. Hear the latest.
Sue-Jin is a wonderful talent and a true songbird. Her beauiful voice has been heard in shows all over LA and in numerous university events. This versatile singer-songwriter will grace the stage with songs from her latest album “Worth The Tears” and more. It is a pleasure to feature her at 10 for 10.
Low Low Jones: An exemplary collective of siblings working together for music’s good. Tawny, Sug, Dean and Derek rock originals and cover classic tunes from some of our favorite artists. I have known the Parras since 1993 and am extremely pleased to present this band at 10 for 10.
Azjah of Nice Vibz Productions is a multi-talented singer-songwriter and musician from Inglewood, CA. He plays the drums, guitar, bass and keys on his own projects as well as some from Armchair Generals. His soul, rock and reggae-influenced sound infuses the most sincere lyrics and passionate conviction. Hope he sings one of my favorites!
Christina Maxine: writer, photographer, music baybe . . . This radiant Ms. will be exhibiting her photography in the artist display area. Stop by and view some of her best work–maybe even buy a few. I am delighted to have my Virgo sista’ on board for this event!
