Graeme Winder CD Release Concert Benefits Sweet Relief Musicians Fund

 

Accomplished composer/pianist Graeme Winder presents his debut album, “Solace” Friday, September 18, 2009 at 7 p.m. in an intimate CD release concert at the Pageant of the Masters’ Forum Theatre located at 650 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.  Guests can look forward to a textured compilation of piano and orchestral works that will explore everything from a vocal blues-style to world beat rhythms as well as a featured performance from local folk singer Molly Venter.  A portion of the night’s proceeds will be donated to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to career musicians in need.

 

“Sweet Relief is honored to have such a talent as Graeme Winder align his event with us,” said Rob Max, Communications Director.

 

Winder, who is self-producing the concert, plans for an evening of harmony and eclectic arrangement of his musical compilations.  Other featured musicians will include: Rock Deadrick, Robert Schumitsky, Hollee Holt, Apoetnomadali, and Avery Watts.

 

“I am most grateful for the opportunity to perform my debut album at this amazing facility.  Working with the wonderful people of Laguna Beach and from the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund makes this night both joyful and meaningful,” said Winder.

 

Based on the ticket package purchased, guests can expect to enjoy fine wine donated by HammerSky Vineyards, Paso Robles, and a complimentary CD with original tracks composed by Mr. Winder.  Available ticket options are:

About Graeme Winder:

Graeme Winder began composing at the age of 10.  After receiving his B.S. in Biology, he quickly realized that music was his calling and moved to Laguna in 2004 to pursue a new and uncertain career.  His original film score debut came in 2008 at the Newport Beach Film Festival (Finding Chance).  Recently, Graeme has opened a music academy in Orange County and is currently developing a new method of music education that inspires creativity and self-expression (www.greentreemusicacademy.com).
