UDPATE: September 30th, 2025
In 2024, Lou Koller, lead singer of hardcore band SICK OF IT ALL, was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma (esophageal cancer). After undergoing surgery and chemotherapy treatments, he was finally declared cancer-free in May of 2025. Although that was great to hear, the recovery proved to be very difficult and he was struggling to keep food down. This led to further testing and scans which brought some bad news.
"Unfortunately, the cancer has come back. And he brought some friends with him," Lou shared in a new video update via SICK OF IT ALL's Instagram.
Please consider donating to help Lou cover the continued costs of care and recovery.

Lou Koller, lead singer for New York hardcore band SICK OF IT ALL has been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma (esophageal cancer). He is undergoing treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in NY and chemo therapy will take place at their location in New Jersey where Lou lives. However, Lou could use your help as insurance does not currently cover his treatment or required surgery in NY. Insurance will only partially cover treatments taking place in his home state of New Jersey.
Lou is a founding member of Sick of it All and the band rely upon the income from touring to support their families. As a result of Lou’s diagnosis all tour plans present and future have been cancelled. The bills are overwhelming and we ask that if you have the means you might consider donating to help Lou cover these costs and focus on his treatment and recovery. He has a long road ahead and undetermined time frame to recovery before he is well enough to perform and tour once again.
Thank you so much for considering a donation to help Lou during this difficult time. Your generosity and kindness of heart are greatly appreciated by Lou and the Sick of it All family.
Proceeds from this tax-deductible donation will go towards Lou’s care and recovery.
