On Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, Jesse Malin will return to the stage for the largest hometown show of his career. Malin will perform a full set with his longtime band, and then the show will feature special guests Lucinda Williams, Rickie Lee Jones, Jakob Dylan, Butch Walker, J Mascis, Adam and David Immy of Counting Crows and Alejandro Escovedo, with hosts Michael Imperioli and Mary-Louise Parker, and support from WFUV. More guests will be announced.
Pre-sales for VIP / premium seats through Sweet Relief will begin Wed, June 26 at 10:00am ET HERE, and at Ticketmaster HERE (password PATRONSAINTS). Tickets will be on sale to the public on Friday, June 28 at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. In May 2023, Malin suffered a rare spinal stroke that left him paralyzed from the waist down. He is now undergoing a strict daily regimen with physical therapy and stem-cell treatments. All proceeds from the Beacon Theater show will benefit Jesse Malin’s Sweet Relief artist fund. “As always in my songs, the themes are all there— transcendence, positivity and global unity through music,” says Jesse Malin. “This is what I love to do, and I’m going to do everything I can to keep doing it.” On September 20, the benefit album and tribute Silver Patron Saints: The Songs of Jesse Malin will be released, with Bruce Springsteen, Billie Joe Armstrong, Lucinda Williams, Elvis Costello, The Hold Steady, Spoon, Susanna Hoffs and many more. Hear the first single, “Prisoners of Paradise” by Bleachers and watch the visualizer video. The triple-vinyl tribute set is available for pre-order now on Glassnote Records. “This record is also a dynamite and long-overdue awareness project, non-stop star time in vigorously personal twists on behalf of a great rock & roll songbook,” writes longtime supporter, David Fricke, who adds, “Jesse Malin knows about scars – from his youth, observation and more. They all carry tales, and he's not done telling them. Silver Patron Saints is the gang back at the bar, coming to the stage to toast the composer and his story so far.” Jesse Malin Benefit December 1 at The Beacon Theater ticket link Pre-order Silver Patron Saints: The Songs of Jesse Malin (Glassnote Records) Hear “Prisoners of Paradise” by Bleachers Chasing the Light live album and concert film is available now on Wicked Cool Records www.jessemalin.com Contact: Carla Parisi [email protected] 973-563-8204 LIVE 6/28 @ 4:00p PST—Pour a glass of NEW refreshingly tropical Butter Sauv Blanc, and tune in for #JaMHappyHour benefiting Sweet Relief Musician’s Fund—featuring ROSIE!
