In addition, young piano phenom River Eckert will be making his NYC debut. The show will feature fresh interpretations of some of the most beloved songs of all time with surprises and special guests.
The show will benefit Music Will, the largest nonprofit music program in the U.S., delivering hands-on, culturally responsive music education to more than 1,000,000 students in thousands of public schools nationwide and Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, who provide services and financial assistance for career musicians and music industry professionals. Grants are earmarked for medical and vital living expenses, including insurance premiums, prescriptions, medical treatment and operative procedures, housing costs, food costs, utilities, and other basic necessities. Made in collaboration with the band to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Painkiller and the upcoming 40th anniversary of Turbo, these artworks were created from the sound waves of three massive Judas Priest hits, including "Painkiller," "Turbo Lover" and "You've Got Another Thing Coming." Glenn Tipton signed these artworks in England in August, and Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Scott Travis & Richie Faulkner signed them backstage at Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Austin, TX on October 25.
