The WorldScout Music Expo platform is committed to providing opportunities for emerging indie artists to elevate their industry knowledge and connect with major record labels, producers, agents, managers and playlist curators through both live and digital events. This contest is designed for artists including rappers, singers, producers, and beat-makers ages 13+ with music leaning towards Hip-Hop, R&B, and Trap music. Partial proceeds from #KeepMakingMusic will be donated to the Sweet Relief COVID-19 fund created to provide emergency financial support for artists and gig-workers whose income was greatly affected by the cancellation of live music events due to the coronavirus crisis.

2. Tag at least 3 artists or friends on any of our contest posts on Instagram

3. Post a video on YouTube of your song. (Judging is based on your music ONLY, not the video) *The video may be a simple still photo, or lyrics, or a full music video – it’s your choice.

4. Join the contest by creating a profile on Orbiiit and submitting your entry by adding your YouTube link.

VOTING AND ROUNDS
Round InfoPreliminary Judging Group Rounds (Groups of 20-50)

1. TOP 15 - Public voting will help reduce each group to the top 15 artists in each group.

2. TOP 5 - Public voting will help reduce the top 15 to the top 5 artists in each group.

3. Group Winners - Public voting will help reduce the top 5 artists to 1 preliminary winner in each group.

Semi-Finals

4. Semi-finals - Preliminary group winners will be divided evenly into 10 semi-final groups. Public voting will determine one (1) winner from each semi-finals group that will advance into the finals.

Final Round

5. Winner - Public voting and the Judges’ votes will help reduce the 10 finalists to the winners of the Competition
