One of Nashville's most sought after piano players, Dirk Johnson, has recorded and produced many gospel and country artists such as Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton, Gene Watson and countless others over his 40+ year career. Now he needs our help.
Over the past several months, endless tests, and many hospitalizations, Dirk was diagnosed with Nonalcoholic Liver Disease, and is now in end stage liver failure. Because of the severity of the progression of his disease, a liver transplant is the only option for a full recovery of this disease. During the testing for candidacy to receive a new liver, Dirk encountered seizures and a head injury. Because of the combination of these two things, Dirk is currently ventilator dependent and his liver treatments and workups have been put on hold. His extensive hospitalization has prevented him and his wife Gail from working full-time. Please consider supporting Dirk in his time of need.
