US based music charity Sweet Relief are to benefit from an agreement with Aurovine to benefit from an influx of digital currency Audiocoin to help their members affected by the Covid 19 pandemic.
As well as a substantial donation of ADC, Sweet Relief will also benefit from a donated staking node as the currency upgrades its codebase to make use of the Delegated chains (DPOS) provided by Blockpool. What this means in reality is that Sweet Relief will benefit from a regular supply of newly forged coins that can be converted into tangible funds for their members. Sweet Relief’s Forging Node is already active and can be seen in action on the Blockpool blockchain. Nate Cook's GXAX Ride from NYC to LA is coming to a close! Come watch The Yawpers first full band show of 2021, this September at Jam In the Van HQ in Los Angeles. Help us celebrate with Nate as he crosses the finish line! GXAX is a long-distance charity ride founded by The Yawpers' frontman Nate Cook when the pandemic obliterated the music industry in early 2020. For his sophomore effort, Cook has once again team up with Sweet Relief Musicians Fund with the goal of surpassing last year's total of nearly $17,000 raised in two short weeks.
The second annual event, "Go West, Aging Man," embarked on the 4th of July in New York, New York and will span 3,600 miles across 8 weeks before crossing the finish line in Los Angeles. While the world is starting to return to something approximating normalcy, musicians are still reeling from a devastating year. And with the threat of the new variant growing substantially, The far-reaching and industry spanning campaign hopes to rise to the challenge that the extended pandemic presents for the music community at large. GXAX aims to rally fans to the banner of the indie music community through biking, music, and a little bit of insanity. Hot off the press! Soundwaves Art has TWO brand new collections for fans of 90s/2000s rock!
