Planet Rock just premiered our friends and #SweetSupporters latest music video! 'Tired of Drinking Alone' is Robert Jon & The Wrecks second single from their new album 'Last Light On The Highway’, which will be released on May 8th. Filmed during lockdown, we've drafted in various guests including Bad Touch vocalist Stevie Westwood, Ajay Popoff of the band Lit, Joe Bonamassa's backing singer Juanita Tippins, and model Nikki Leigh.
They are also using this video fundraise for Sweet Relief's COVID-19 Fund. We're so grateful for their continued support of our mission! Robert Jon & The Wreck keyboardist Steve Maggiora, who also directed the video, says: “I was getting a little emotional watching it all back just seeing how many people took time out of their day to help us out. It means a lot to me personally.” Watch the ‘Tired of Drinking Alone’ video below! COVID-19 has deeply impacted the livelihoods of countless musicians all over the world, causing them to cancel performances and lose other sources of income. To help offset this hardship, Polyverse Music has created a platform for supporting and raising financial aid for performing artists.
Polyverse Music is excited to announce the launch of Polyverse.TV, a livestream-powered fundraising initiative to support independent artists impacted by COVID-19. Each week, the platform will showcase live performances from talented musicians around the world. The performances will be broadcast on http://polyverse.tv as well as on YouTube and Facebook Live. Polyverse Music has partnered with Sweet Relief Musicians Fund to coordinate the collection and distribution of raised funds. 50% of all donations will go directly to featured Polyverse.TV performers, and the other 50% will go toward Sweet Relief’s COVID-19 Fund to provide financial support to other fellow musicians. Polyverse Music will not retain any of the funds raised as part of this initiative. The first performance on Polyverse.TV will begin on April 29th at 18:00 PST. Donations can be made by visiting http://polyverse.tv/donate. To accompany the launch of Polyverse.TV, all Polyverse products will be discounted by 25% from April 29th 2019 until May 10th 2019. Seth Glier's latest single, 'Til Further Notice,' is out now and 50% of the proceeds will benefit Sweet Relief's COVID-19 Fund! We're so grateful for his generosity. "We’ve heard the words “Til Further Notice” a lot in the past few weeks. They’ve become a signal of prolonged uncertainty and a mantra as we shift to a new rhythm in our daily lives. Growing up in Western Massachusetts I’ve lived with the words of Emily Dickinson for much of my life. “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul.” Hearing about Prine awakened that little bird and the following day I wrote this song with my friend Steve Seskin over FaceTime. Never have I felt a time where we are all collectively so emotionally exposed to this feeling of uncertainty. I believe that uncertainty is the place where hope lives and crawls out of from time to time" -Seth Glier
