Applications for financial assistance are now open to struggling Bluegrass musicians who are facing illness, disability, or age-related problems.  Sweet Relief Musicians Fund is proud to announce the ‘Long Distance Love - A Sweet Relief Tribute to Lowell George’ album, out May 17th via Flatiron Recordings! Pre-save, and pre-order, below! Lowell George was the guitar virtuoso, vocalist and songwriter for Little Feat. He passed away too soon in 1979 but left behind an incredible legacy. This album celebrates his great work with 25 covers done by some of George’s friends, family, and admirers. We’re grateful to all of the artists who contributed to this album, especially long-time Sweet Relief supporters Elvis Costello, Ben Harper, Dave Alvin, and Inara George.  NEW! Soundwaves Art teamed up with Lake Street Dive to make these incredible art pieces made from the soundwaves of “Hypotheticals” and “Neighbor Song” The band was also gracious enough to sign a few during the Cayamo cruise!
